Kiara Paz

Hi! I'm Kiara Paz, born in Lima and raised in a warm and welcoming family environment alongside my grandparents. From a very young age, I learned the importance of making people feel comfortable, cared for, and truly welcomed. That connection to hospitality is something I carry into my work in tourism today, where my goal is to make every traveler feel at home from the very moment they arrive in the Amazon.

What inspires me most about working in tourism is being the very first connection travelers have with what will hopefully become an unforgettable experience in the Peruvian rainforest. It brings me so much joy to see the excitement and happiness on our guests’ faces as they discover a destination as special as Tambopata, knowing I can contribute to memories they will cherish forever. I’m also passionate about advising travelers because every experience becomes an opportunity to share a small piece of my beloved country and the incredible natural and cultural richness it offers. The fact that visitors from around the world choose Puerto Maldonado as part of their journey makes every interaction even more meaningful.

What I enjoy most about helping guests during their stay is ensuring they experience comfort, hospitality, and unforgettable moments throughout their adventure. I love seeing them enjoy the different activities at our lodges and return home with a genuine connection to nature. The Amazon inspires me because it is the perfect place to discover new species and experience Peru’s extraordinary biodiversity up close. Outside of work, I enjoy singing, listening to music, traveling, and discovering new places. I’m also passionate about learning new languages and exploring different cultures, because I believe every experience and every person has something valuable to teach us.
