BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• To reconfirm the reservation we require complete information from the travelers and full payment 7 days before arrival at the lodges.
• Some special offers require full or partial payment in advance at the time of booking and are non-refundable.

Payment can be done with Pay Pal, Master Card, American Express, or VISA credit card, in this case, we kindly request to call your bank first and authorize the transaction. We are not responsible for any banking expenses.

Booking Rate Plans

Total flexibility

You can cancel or modify your reservation without penalty and without additional cost up to 07 days before your arrival! When the payment will be requested.

Special Deals or Discounted Rates

A partial or full non-refundable deposit will be required at the time of booking. This will be communicated by email when making your reservation. Remember that it does not apply to refunds and changes.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

• Cancellations made up to 07 days before the arrival date will be fully refunded less 5% for administrative expenses.
• Cancellations within 06 days prior to the arrival date will not be refunded.

Travel Insurance

Rainforest Expeditions, HIGHLY recommends that our clients protect themselves with travel insurance to prevent any financial losses.

RESPONSIBILITY AND INSURANCE

Rainforest Expeditions SAC services include only the services described in the selected program.

The guest is responsible for obtaining passports, visas, travel insurance, international and domestic flights, payment for excess baggage charges, items of a personal nature, such as drinks, laundry, communications (phone calls, emails, internet service, etc), gratuities, or any other service not specified in the program.

Rainforest Expeditions SAC retains the right to make changes in the contracted itinerary.

Rainforest Expeditions SAC is not responsible for extra costs caused by delays or cancellation of air, road, lake, river, or trail travel due to changes in airline schedules, bad weather conditions, civil or government strikes, acts of God or government, acts of terrorism, force majeure (including world or local health conditions), criminal activity, or sickness.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF ALL RISKS

In consideration of and as part payment for the right to participate in travels organized by RAINFOREST EXPEDITIONS SAC (RFE), I hereby freely make the following representations and agreements.

You fully realize the hazards of participating in the travel of this type and voluntarily assume all the risks associated with such participation. I understand the risks include but are not limited to, the hazards of traveling in remote and/or mountainous terrain, accident or illness in remote places without readily available medical facilities, the forces of nature, the hazards of war, civil insurrection, terrorism, and street crime. You understand that airports, roads, railroads, highways, bridges, buildings, and other man-made structures, as well as motor vehicles, aircraft, and other conveyances, may not be constructed or maintained up to standards customary in the United States or other North American, European, Asian or Oceania countries.

You agree that it is my sole responsibility to be familiar with and capable of handling the physical and/or mental demands associated with the travel I have chosen.

You understand that situations beyond the control of Rainforest Expeditions, its providers or the participants may arise during the travels. You understand that Rainforest Expeditions is not liable for any airline cancellations, delays, or other events not under its control and you will not hold Rainforest Expeditions financially liable for those events.

You hereby release and agree not to sue Rainforest Expeditions for any damage or losses to person or property you may sustain arising out of the travels organized by Rainforest Expeditions or any provider. You acknowledge and agree for yourself, your heirs, successors, and assigns that the above representations and agreements are contractually binding on you.

Having read and understood the contents and consequences of the Release of Liability and Assumption of All Risks, being aware that you have the option to purchase travel and other insurance, and understanding and accepting your responsibilities during my travels, you hereby sign this Release and Assumption on your own free will.

Parent or Guardian of a Minor: You as parent or guardian of any minor traveling with you give permission for your child or ward to participate in the travel experience referred to herein and agree to the terms hereof.
