Tiago Jordan

Hi! I'm Tiago Jordan, born in Cusco, a city deeply connected to tourism and cultural exchange in Peru. Growing up surrounded by travelers and tourism experiences helped me understand, from an early age, the power of tourism to connect people, cultures, and nature. That perspective eventually led me to the world of ecotourism, where I found a meaningful way to combine sustainability, hospitality, and conservation. I strongly believe tourism can generate positive economic development while remaining responsible toward the environment and local communities.

What inspires me most about working in tourism is helping people discover the incredible richness of the Peruvian Amazon and everything it represents. Advising travelers and creating meaningful rainforest experiences is something I’m truly passionate about because every visit to Tambopata has the potential to become transformative. I enjoy guiding guests toward experiences that allow them to disconnect from routine, connect with nature, and authentically experience the biodiversity and culture of the Amazon. Seeing guests arrive without knowing what to expect and then witnessing their amazement as they explore the forest is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

The Amazon rainforest inspires me because it is one of the few places where you can truly reconnect with nature and with yourself at the same time. What I enjoy most is the sense of peace, the incredible biodiversity, and the feeling of being immersed in a world completely different from everyday life. Beyond work, I’m passionate about traveling, spinning, cinema, art, theater, coffee, gastronomy, and fashion. I believe these interests, much like tourism itself, are all ways of exploring creativity, culture, and human connection. Through my work, I hope to help more people discover the beauty and importance of Tambopata while promoting a more conscious and meaningful way of traveling.
